They are thrown on the wheel, then at leather hard stage, cut into, wrapped and re-formed by hand to create a wrap around-hug effect. The lines, dots and markings have been carefully carved into the clay for decorative interest.
This piece has a beautiful glaze which looks much like a sandy beach. It measures height-7.5cm, bottom-5.5cm, top opening -6.5cm.
