Every one of my mugs is unique. Thrown on the wheel with buff stoneware clay, at leather hard stage, various designs have been carefully carved into the clay for decorative interest.
This piece has detailed meadow flowers carved around the surface with a vine along the handle too. Glazed with simple white gloss, the speckle of the clay breaks through nicely creating a beautiful organic feel. It measures height-8cm, bottom-5.5cm, top opening 8cm.
