This vase was thrown on the wheel in buff stoneware clay. Once leather hard and trimmed, a vintage green slip background is applied before layering with other coloured slips to create the primrose design. Areas are then carved away to add detail to the primrose *sgraffito design. The piece has been glazed with clear gloss to preserve the sgraffito design and colour.
The piece measures: Height-10cm bottom-7cm, opening 5cm
