This plant pot has been thrown on the wheel in buff stoneware clay. The wave detail around the top edge has then been carefully moulded by hand. Coloured slip is applied and when dry enough, carved into to make the *sgraffito design. It has then been glazed around the top and inside with a fluxy green blue to complement the slip. It measures height-10cm bottom-8.5cm, opening 11cm.
Each piece is made with the utmost care and attention to detail. Taking inspiration from nature, my forms often feature organic curves or waves akin to the edge of a leaf or petal. The pot is water resistant. We recommend hand washing our ceramic items for prolonged life and best care.
