This match pot has been hand built with buff stoneware clay. The fern leaf detail is made with real leaf imprints pressed into the clay at leather hard stage before painting over layers of coloured slip. The piece has been glazed with transparent glaze to preserve to colour and integrity of the design. It fits long ‘cooks matches’ perfectly and come filled with them! There is a striking circle on the underside to light your matches. It measures height-9.5cm bottom-6cm, opening 5.5cm.
